About the class…
In the first half of the class usually begins with a barre section. We do to very similar exercises each class in order to avoid you having to think too much about the choreography/steps. Focussing on the technical and the ‘Fit’ aspects of the class. We cover Plies, Tendu, Glisse, Grand Battement and more…
During the second half of the class however, it is more free as we move in to the centre. We work on steps leading up to an adagio sequence perhaps. You will learn Balance, Pas De Chat, Pirouettes, Sauté, Changement, Entrechat and more…
Who is the class suitable for?
The Ballet Fit For All class is not designed for Prima Ballerinas! Two left feet… no problem. Adults, Skaters, those with additional needs or no experience… We welcome you all.
Need to begin ballet for your ice skating but worried you won’t be good enough for a strict ballet class? Give it a try. We talk technique, we work hard, we work to improve overall body condition and learn skills to improve strength, flexibility and balance.
Skaters, adults, those with additional needs or without. Actually everyone is welcome to give it a try.
